Don M. Drysdale is the sole practitioner of an Orange County, California-based franchise law firm. Mr. Drysdale's practice emphasizes franchise documentation and domestic and international regulatory compliance by franchisors. Previously, Mr. Drysdale was Vice President and General Counsel of Coldwell Banker Residential Affiliates, Inc., where he established and supervised the legal department of the organization as it grew to more than 1,000 franchisees.
Before joining Coldwell Banker, he was an associate with Hill Wynne Troop and Meisinger, and Greenberg and Glusker, both located in Los Angeles, California. After leaving Coldwell Banker, Mr. Drysdale was a Partner of Gordon & Drysdale, Newport Beach, California, Of-Counsel to Bushkin, Kopelson, Gaims, Gaines and Jonas, Los Angeles, California, and Partner of Solish, Jordan and Wiener, Brentwood, California (now merged with Jenkens and Gilchrist).
Mr. Drysdale is currently a member of the International Franchise Association Legal/Legislative Committee and the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising. He was past Chair of the Franchise Law Committee of the State Bar of California, past Director of Membership for the California Franchise Association, past member of the Franchise Development Task Force to the President Pro Tempore of the California Senate, past member of the Advisory Commission to the California Senate on Franchising Matters, and past Chair of the Business Law Committee of the Asia-Pacific Lawyers Association.

Mr. Drysdale has lectured on franchise related matters before the International Franchise Association, International Bar Association (in Hong Kong and France), American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, Asia-Pacific Lawyers Association (in Beijing), California Franchise Association, Florida Franchise Association, Japan Franchise Association (in Tokyo), Orange County Bar Association and University of California, Irvine.
Mr. Drysdale graduated from the UCLA Law School in 1976, where he was a member of the Law Review. He has received an "AV" rating (the highest possible in legal ability and ethics) from the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
