Mr. Drysdale graduated from the UCLA Law School in 1976, where he was a member of the Law Review. He received and has maintained an "AV" rating (the highest possible in legal ability and ethics) from the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
Mr. Drysdale began his franchise law practice as an attorney in Century City, California. He then relocated to Orange County, California to become Vice President and General Counsel of Coldwell Banker Residential Affiliates, Inc., where he established and supervised the legal department of the organization as it grew to more than 1,000 franchisees.
After serving four years with Coldwell Banker, he was partner in two law firms for the next six years before establishing this sole proprietor law firm. In 2016, Mr. Drysdale became ad hoc of counsel to Lee, Hong, Degerman, Kang & Waimey PC based in Newport Beach, California.
Mr. Drysdale has lectured on franchise related matters before the International Franchise Association, International Bar Association (in Hong Kong and France), American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, Asia-Pacific Lawyers Association (in Beijing), California Franchise Association, Florida Franchise Association, Japan Franchise Association (in Tokyo), Orange County Bar Association and University of California, Irvine.
